About a month and a half ago, a friend of my kept talking about making amazing lattes and coffee at home. She had been using Cometeer Coffee flash frozen coffee pods – small shots of espresso from specialty coffee roasters – to make lattes and cups of coffee (Americanos).
I finally caved and ordered a subscription box. Typically I’m not a huge fan of subscription services, but I’m also a BIG fan of great coffee, so I decided to give it a try. Let me tell you, I’m so glad that I did! When I say this is amazing coffee, it’s truly amazing coffee. I am frequently tempted to grab a latte at a coffee shop when the opportunity arises, but after having Cometeer pods at home these last number of weeks, I haven’t been tempted to grab a coffee on the go because I love the coffee I have at home.
So how have I been making my coffee at home?
Typically I’ve been using these pods to make lattes at home. I have a nice mix of both decaf and regular pods and have been making nightly oat milk lattes to enjoy while watching a show with Joe.
- Warm up the oat milk (usually with a spash of oat milk creamer) in the microwave
- While the oat milk warms up, I use my Corvo Electric Kettle to heat water. I pour the hot water over my Cometeer pod.
- I add my melted pod into the hot oat milk and enjoy!
