My Summer Active Wear Capsule

In Fashion by Madison MayberryLeave a Comment

I’ve been putting together my warm weather active wear wardrobe for this spring/summer. I find that I typically wear the same handful of basics all summer long and some of my favorite basics are getting a little worn out. As I’ve been doing some updating, I wanted to share with YOU all my favorite items!

I’m ultra picky about activewear. It has to fit *just* right, wash well, and look great. I want to be comfortable but also look and feel put together while I chase after the kids all summer long.

Tops & Tees
In Motion Seamless Tank
If you want to know how much I love this tank, I bought it in four colors. 🙂 It’s so great! Thick enough to be flattering yet lightweight. I sized up for a more relaxed fit.

In Motion Seamless T-Shirt
This is such a great, flattering lightweight t-shirt! The material is thick enough to be flattering but has small little holes in the design to make it airy and easy to wear for summer.

Brightside Tank
I mentioned on Instagram that I’m picky about my tank tops. This one fits the bill for being both comfortable, well cut and easy to wear both with casual shorts and jean shorts. I sized up for a more relaxed fit but it fits very true to size!

Effortless Tank
Another gem – this tank fits true to size and is another that’s activewear yet could be worn with dressier shorts, too.

Shorts
MWL Cargo Shorts
These are SO great! I got my first pair this spring and I love the fit. Not too short and super flatting on. They run true to size and I love the little built in belt.

ON Mid Rise Stretch Tech Run Shorts
Again, I’m sharing these because they truly are THE best and most flattering activewear shorts at the best price. They last for years and years and I will love them forever.

Bra
Light Support PowerSoft Long Line Sports Bra
Literally the only bra I ever want to wear. It’s so comfortable and flattering and comes in a bunch of great colors. At $14 it’s a price that can’t be beat – no wonder this bra has over 5,000 reviews on Old Navy’s website.
